Animals - fantastical and fantastic!

I have work in two exhibitions at the moment, one celebrating the natural world and one celebrating the fantastical!

I have three of my animal paintings at the Our Wonderful Natural World exhibition at the Peter Ingram Gallery, Frogmore Mill, supporting a very worthy local cause - saving Butterfly World. When I arrived someone said 'Ah, the hare lady'. I was about to protest that I do paint other things, then remembered that all three paintings I had with me feature... hares.

Art on the Common

Rain or shine I'll be on Harpenden Common once again this year with fellow artists Teresa Newham and Hilary Taylor with a mix of originals, print, and cards. There are lots of wonderful (and hardy!) local artists taking part in support of Cancer Research UK. Art on the Common has been running for 30 years and the weather has never stopped us yet. Apart from one really bad Sunday when we had a monsoon, but we won't go there. This year it will be sun all the way and our gazebo will stay up!
